How do I get started?

How often will we meet?

To start, we’ll meet once a week for 50- or 75-minute sessions. Over time, we may adjust the frequency based on your needs.

How much does it cost?

My fees align with typical Bay Area psychotherapists. I have a limited number of reduced-fee spots available. Please contact me directly for more information on fees.

Do you take insurance?

I do not accept insurance but may be considered an out-of-network provider. Contact your insurance company to inquire about reimbursement options:

  • Your deductible

  • The reimbursement percentage

This may help make therapy more affordable for you

Do you work in any other languages?

I offer therapy in both English and Spanish.

What is your cancellation policy?

Consistency is important, so I ask that clients attend sessions as scheduled. If you’re late (10+ minutes without prior notice), it will be considered a no-show, and you’ll be charged your normal fee.

Cancellations within 48 hours of your session will also incur the full fee, unless we can reschedule within the same business week.

I allow up to four missed sessions per year with 48 hours’ notice. If more than four sessions are missed, you will still be charged for any additional missed sessions, regardless of notice. This policy is in addition to any time I may take off throughout the year (typically 4 weeks).
